About Blind Harpy Studios

Blind Harpy Studios (BHS) is a multimedia entertainment business crafting humorous science-fiction and fantasy stories for adults, distributed via real world channels and the Ethereum blockchain. The studio’s debut project is Cyclopes From the Ether (CFTE). CFTE is a sci-fi franchise encompassing a six-issue comic book series, a retro side-scroller video game, and a tabletop role-player. Access to BHS content is available to anyone who purchases a Season 1 non-fungible token (NFT).

Company History

Based in NYC, Blind Harpy was launched in 2021 by Tony E. Ricigliano and Jennie M. Carlson. Tony is Director of Operations and heads the commercial and technical side of Blind Harpy. Jennie is Creative Director and leads the art, story and creative vision within the studio. Blind Harpy’s debut project, Cyclopes From the Ether, is set for publication early 2024. Season 1 introduces the Cyclopes, a mysterious, powerful race of deep-space dwellers and the Earthlings desperate to make contact with them. Human archaeologists find an ancient prophecy and travel the stars in search of Cyclopean life.

Blind Harpy and Blockchain

NFTs from Blind Harpy give users access to an immersive multimedia experience, from hand-drawn art to animations, games, and original music — all original works created by our unique and talented team of contributors. Our NFTs can be minted on our project website, or purchased on leading NFT marketplaces like OpenSea and Blur.

Product Roadmap

Coming next from Blind Harpy will be four new seasons of Cyclopes From the Ether, with content ranging from an animated series, video games, traditional table-top board games, and more.

Tony heads the business and technical side of Blind Harpy, managing our revenue model and fine-tuning our technical architecture to ensure the best possible audience experience. His background includes time as a researcher in molecular biology and as a semi-pro juggler and fire performer.

Jennie heads the creative side of Blind Harpy, working with our incredible team of BHS artists to develop new IP and breathtakingly-original immersive online art. Her background includes time in the not-for profit sector, and a successful freelance career in graphic design, photography and videography.
